Description

Pottery, jet black, base broken off, simple bowl shape with slight shoulder, short rim set off by very slight groove from body. Rim rounded and slightly overted. Paste: black to brown with white inclusions. Shoulder decorated with double zigzag line made of punctations. Exterior burnished. Found in a tomb when the lake was lowered 30' along shore. Presented to donor by Prof. Gare Kafatarjam, Director of State Historical Museum of America in Erivan.
