Description

Upper half of the "bag" of a baby carrier of Plains Indian type. Hood-shaped. Back strip of elk skin; side strip, passing over the top, of buckskin, quilled in floral design, dark and light red, orange, yellow, greenish yellow, green, blue and purple. Crown ornament of quilled thongs and fringe.
