Description

A set of Buddhist prayer beads (juzu 数珠) on a loop of string with two tassels on opposite sides. There are 108 beads on the main section, 92 black, wooden beads and 16 orange coral beads. An additional four clear small beads are spaced throughout. There are two large opaque glass beads each with a three way hole used to attach the tassels on either end.The string is green and white cord.This prayer bead set was likely used as part of the Nichiren sect of Buddhism.
