Description | Base sherd from a wide plate or bowl. Inside is a drawing of divinities in a boat in white ink. The boat rests on a lake sign, with zig-zag water decoration. The upper part of the first two gods is broken away, but it begins with two male divinities, follwed by two female divinities (the first of which has a round nw jar abover her head), and then another male. At the edge of the sherd is a mummiform figure with two arms extending holding a faint scepter, possibly Ptah or Osiris. The images probably represent the Ennead, beginning with Re-Atum at the right, followed by Shu and Tefnut, Nut and Geb, and possibly Osiris. |
