Description | Conical rhyton, with base more painted than usual; vertical paring marks on lower body. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in red to brown to black paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Series of friezes, separated by bands: two foliate bands and grass or reed. Added white: traces on some of the dark bands. Lower part preserved. |
