Description

Rattle (angklung). Three bamboo tubes, graduated in length, loosely set in a bamboo tube base and lashed to a stick frame. Streamers of cut pelah leaves attached to top of frame. Shaken: usually played in ensemble with drums (see 87-1-2 A-C). One of a set, ranging (generally) from 55 cm. high X 35 cm. wide to 135 cm. high X 60 cm. wide. One of the bamboo tubes is attached, middle cross bar is broken.
