Description | Rounded base, maximum diameter slightly below middle of body; slight constriction at base of flaring rim. Chihuahua Polychrome ware. Red and brown decoration on buff slip. Zonal decoration is 1 cm. below rim and 9 1/2 cm. wide; 2 narrow vertical panels, containing pendant triangles with hooks, divide the decorative zone into 2 identical fields, each field contains on oblique band of pendant triangles with hooks, and two triangular areas, one with a hatched cloud symbol and a solid red triangular area, the other with 3 geometric elements including the cloud symbol and the four directions. |
