Description | Rounded base, maximum diameter slightly below middle of body; slight constriction at base of flaring rim. Chihuahua Polychrome ware. Red and brown decoration on buff slip. Zone of decoration is 1 cm. below rim and 9 cm. wide. Narrow parallel vertical lines divide zone into 2 rectangular fields, each being divided by oblique parallel lines forming two triangular areas which contain the cloud symbol and a long triangular solid red or brown area. |
