Description | Tomb 2A = Herscher Tomb 802A. Red polished II black-topped bowl. Incomplete. Thick coarse dark red clay. Thick crackled dark red-brown slip, probably originally very lustrous but little of surface preserved. Round base, deep nearly globular body, incurving rim; no lug preserved. Undecorated. |
