Description | Tupui or coral snake for woman of noble class. Plaited into two long braids which fall down the back. Six loosely plaited rolls of wool are bound at each end into a cylinder which is then embroidered in a red, blue, green, and white diamond pattern. Beyond the cylinder are three plaited strands, each with two smaller cylinders- one midway and one at the end. |
