Description

Vermeule: Banded Agate. Intaglio. (Modern silver ring setting). Group of seven figures moving to right, offering a sacrifice at an altar at the right. A tetra-style temple hung with garlands appears in the background. 18th, the design suggestive of a Roman Imperial coin type of the 1st or early 2nd century A.D.
