Description | Ivory plaque fragment; two small pieces of an undecorated flat plaque with single guilloche at top edge; one has part of hole and one a complete hold through lower edge of border. Muscarella Publication: "Two small fragments from what appears to be the sides of a plain pyxis with a lower border consisting of a guilloche pattern; one fragment preserves a dowel hole, apparently to hold a bottom. The interior is smooth but tool marks are visible." |
