Description | Male figure, standing, arms at sides, on round base. Nose and ears sharply pointed. Cowrie shell eyes, in nine and ten pointed "stars", surrounded by curvilinear face paint. Small masks, with nassa shell eyes, on upper arms, carved breast ornament with six chevrons. Twisted fiber with tassels at waist, ankles, wrists, ears. Coarse, stiff fiber around neck. Black, with white face paint and neck ornament. Deep cracks across base (from one side to other), down left breast, back of head behind left ear. |
