Description | Buff ware. Wide low conical foot, flaring slightly concave sides, horizontal loop handles. Interior: solid glaze. Brown painted decoration on exterior. Rim: vertical wavy lines between bordering horizontal lines. Central frieze:panther (r.), grazing goat (r.), confronting panther (l.). Frieze bordered by one horizontal line above, and below by a zone of two narrow lines enclosed by two bands. Narrow rays above foot. |
