Description | Sheet tin with serrated edge and raised dots, covers forehead, bridge of nose and outlines the jaws and eyes. Under tin is red and white checked cloth (exposed in cheek area) with daubs of blue paint around eye sockets (no inlaid eyes). Nostrils daubed with red paint. Reverse is not hollow. Gauged out leaving u-shaped plain with 2 parralled rows of raised teeth-all painted blue. Above this at top is square hole with wooden peg inserted. Top of head has broken piece of iron hook(?). All stained brown and carved in one piece. |
