Description

So-bo, gong. Metal gong for temple used to call guests to dinner. Brass, circular with rim turned over for 5 cm, depressed band around edge, raised boss in center. Hung from stand by cord (not original) through two holes in rim. In Beijing this gong is called T'ung Ku. Good condition. With drum stand (A856B).
