Description | Semi circular shaped wooden container with lid; lid fits into box; a chain link like carving consisting of a series of parallel lines is found on the sides of the body of box and on the front part of lid; Phila (sun) patterns are found in center and corners of box; there is a handle that protrudes from the center of the box; below handle are four raised, carved antelope (Bambi) horns; above this on the back rim, there are two holes (3cm apart), two other hole are found directly beneath in the center of the back side; through the one rights side hole of lid are two strands of braided fiber, knotted; box is dark brown in color. |
