Description | Ovoid urn inscribed with Etruscan name of Telmu (husband of Petrui see MS1124). . Ware is coarse, gritty and red, but walls are thin. Left wheel-finished . Base flat, body ovoid but opening directly into very wide mouth with short flaring rim and downward everted lip beveled on outer top. Inscription, scratched after firing, goes around "shoulder" from right to left. |
