Description | Fragment of plain weave with embroidery. The ground plain weave is most likely cotton. Embroidery is in blocks, alternating in color (red and yellow). One seam, and at this point, the blocks change colors and design pattern. One edge is bound in a wrapped manner, alternating colors (red, black and yellow). Color(s): Off-white, red, yellow and black. |
