Description

Thick, circular piece of hide. Painted on the front with a central figure of a bird in black with a red zig-zag coming from its eyes. Painted black overhead with a spiked lower edge just above the bird's head. The upper edge is wrapped with red cloth. Five feathers attached to the cloth. Two smaller tufts of feathers attached at the bottom left and bottom right of shield. Carrying strap on reverse.
