Description | Rectangular. Of finely woven fibre in natural colour, brown, black, and yellow. In the centre, an 8-pointed star encloses a rosette; rosettes in exterior angles of star and scattered over surrounding field which is of natural colour except angular corners are brown with black design. Four borders on each end: 1, continuous black diamonds enclosing brown conventionalized flower motif; 2, continuous black stepped diamonds enclosing brown square; 3, pendent triangles with natural colour trees between; 4, narrow vertical panels enclosing diamonds, chevrons, stepped diamonds, etc.; plain square at each corner. Three borders on the long sides, the middle one a continuous scroll in natural colour; the first and third like the first and fourth of the ends. Separating each pair of borders is a narrow band of scroll, diamond, or toothed design. |
