Description

Sanxian. Three strings, python skin over sounding box, box of dark wood with metal bands between head and body, dark wood neck curved into scroll beyond pegs. 4 hexagonal, tapering pegs, 1 broken. Remnant of paper with Chinese characters above pegs. Poor condition, skin broken on both sides, body detached from neck.
