Description | Two fragments found separately and subsequently glued together. Reddish-brown, fine-grained rock. Broken, midsection remains (with two or original edges). Ground on one surface only. Dark colored, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Asymmetrical, probably double pointed. Distal edge straight. Proximal edge has 2 straight sections almost at right angles. One surface flaked more than other. Planoconvex cross-section. Distal edge has finer retouch. Broken perpendicular to longitudinal axis; more than half remains. Black, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture. Retouched edges are straight and meet in a point at distal end of flake, and have marginal dorsal edges. Proximal end of flake is broken. |
