Hardwood head inserted into bamboo shaft, the junction covered with plant cuticle lashing. The finely pointed end of the head is undecorated for a distance of 8.2 cm.; behind this plain section, for a distance of 30.5 cm. it is deeply notched across one side except for the final 3.3 cm. which is notched on both sides; then a short plain section covered with a palm wood (?) tube; below this, the head is fully carved.
