紅靈丹. Calcined lead. To adulterate or as a substitute for vermilion, and is employed to a certain extent by glass-makers and painters. From Guangzhou (Canton). Value at Ningbo, $6 per picul. One of a collection of samples of Chinese medicine, each in an individual glass jar sealed with cork top.
