Description | Thread frame in the form of a wooden frame with two parallel pieces and a perpendicular piece connecting the two at their centers. The parallel pieces are curved on the inside and become wider on the ends. There is leaf-like decoration on the parallel pieces where the perpendicular piece attaches them. The perpendicular piece is decorated with three, carved, linear bands towards each end. Thread is removed from the spindle on to this frame, to form skeins which can then be put on a Kong (wheel). |
