Description | Fairly heavy wood. Male figure is stylized (for reference see card on 58-17-55 to 59). Face is more bulbous than -55 to -60 but otherwise very similar. Legs partially flexed, feet small and uneven (won't stand alone); arms partially flexed and quite small. Ears and nose pierced; fiber tassels through ears. Holes through sides and top of "headdress" too. Lug in back of the neck (for suspending?). Back is roughly finished and mostly unpainted. Front seems to have been covered with red paint first; features are accented by, and body designs are in white, yellow and black. Paint very fugitive. |
