Description

Pedestal bowl. Bowl rising from low, hollow foot with wide base. Sides of bowl vertical and consisting of two bands (the upper offset) of incised X's each of which has the lateral sections or the vertical sections gouged out. Mouth of bowl inset (for cover?). Double groove around base.
