Description | Spider-web-like arrangement of raphia or oil palm leaf fibre cords attached to a wooden hoop. Used for skimming off the fibrous pericarp of the palm nuts which has become detached from the kernels when the nuts are washed and squeezed in a canoe filled with water, after they have been boiled. |
