Description | Female figure, hands on hips, standing on deep, broad hook with two small points. Head large in proportion to body. Conus shell eyes, three crescent breast ornaments carved in low relief. On back of cigure a bird, standing on her shoulders, beak on back of her head, tail down back to buttocks. On hook, both front and back, a carved face, with curvilinear carved decorations: spirals on cheeks, with round holes cut through them, arcs down to chin. Black with a pinkish cast, pink stripe across top of head, front. Shape of hook typical of Kanganamon* |
