Description | This cloth box seperates in to a body (A) and a lid (B). It is made of woven bamboo and covered with lacquer (rak รัก), a black material from a tree.The body is larger than the lid. It sits on a connected stand of perpendicular pieces of wood. The bottom of the woven part is flat and square. As the sides go upwards they collapse slightly and form a circle. The lid is circular and large at the base. It becomes smaller and square as it reaches to top, which is flat and decorated with a smaller model of the base. |
