One vertical loop handle shoulder to neck, dark colored bottle Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a lentoid body, effigy-zoomorphic neck, rounded rim, 1 strap handle extending from the neck to the body, and a flat base. The bottom part of the neck is modeled with a bird head with a beak extending from the neck to the body. Modeled in low relief on the shoulder are the bird wings and tail. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in a reducing atmosphere as the surface is black and the interior is gray in color.
