Flat bottom beveled, body narrowing to wide mouth, everted lip; two horizontal loop handles on body. Handles and band extending between painted with geometric designs in black.

Deep bowl or 'Cazuela' with a squat body, no neck/collar, flanged rim, 2 horizontal strap handles on the body, and a flat base. The vessel has a painted geometric design in white, black, and red. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere with localized reduction as the ceramic paste is orange and gray in color. Evidence of usewear includes residue on the interior and staining. Dark patches on the interior may be residue or staining. The catalogue number is written in black ink. Black ink on the bottom of the base and interior reads: "2847."
