Description

The scene is known as "Nanko Sakurai no eki" and depicts the samurai Kusunoki Masashige with his ten year old son, Masatsura. Kusunoki is seated with a pink face and elaborate gold and/silver painted armor. Masatsura is standing next to him elaboratly dressed with hands before him. His face and hands are white. There is a tree between them, as well as a "sacred" rock with leaves in front of it. With black lacquered stand
