Description | Section from neck to upper abdomen of female figurine with child suckling. Both arms support child whose head is on her left brest and whose arm raises around to clutch her shoulder. Fine pinkish-buff clay. Decoration in red glazed lines. Undulating vertical lines comforming to body contours for woman's dress. Closely spaced lines encircle arms of both woman and child. Mended from two pieces. |
