Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). Old-fashioned small checked plaid. Coarse cotton (kafa galia), woven using warp comb (cau). Green and dark blue from local indigo. Commercial rose dye. Hand sewn. Made in 1982, Jango hamlet. Black with green, rose, white balanced plaid. Rose panel with thin vertical stripes. Rose border stripes.
