| Description | Tomb 3A = Herscher Tomb 803A. Red polished III jug with round spout. Orange clay with gray interior. Crackled mottled slip, lustrous dark red to matt brown to matt black. Round base, nearly biconical body; slightly convex neck, round spout, narrow flat flaring rim; vertical handle from mid-neck to upper body. Incised decoration: on handle, two groups of alternating hatching. |
