Description | CBS Register: Babylonian seal cylinder, carnelian PBS XIV: The worshiping of a seated goddess, with hand extended. She is bareheaded and has her hair tied in a loop. Her seat is a plain cube, with a low back. Three attendants bareheaded and in long robes stand, the first with hands extended, the second carrying a pail, the third with hands clasped. The seal copies the pre-Sargonic style. Cyl. seal. Carnelian, 18 x 8 mm. |
