Description | Figure with large, flat, round head, standing on hollow, conical base. Three rows of projecting points above brow, curved rows of projecting points above mouth and along jaw. Cowrie shell eyes. Scarifications above breasts and around navel. Grass pubic apron. Below feet, a turtle. Snakes at sides, from hips of figure to base. Female figure, arms and legs flexed, and bird with spread wings carved in high relief on back. |
