Scabbard

Single-edged iron blade with wide, slightly concave end; tang inserted in long, cylindrical grip with conical knob end, all brass-sheathed with relief ornamental trim, the knob in lotus pattern, the rest in narrow rows of scrolls and rope. Wooden scabbard, brass-covered and bound at intervals with triple brass bands; end cap missing.
