Description

Vellum manuscript. 94 folios bound between two wooden boards. Front board cracked but held together with strings. Stiched. Open back. Single columns, 18 lines each. Black ink with rubrics. Degwa: Chants from the Ethiopian Church liturgy, sung by debteras or deacons and letters between the lines are the stress notes for changing, i.e., loud, soft, long, or short; E. Isaac, 1981: Deggewa Zayohannes; Amharic; Number of Pages: 94 folios.
