Thin, tapered palm bark stick; base of clay; twisted cotton cord wound to thickness of clay base, taper at other end.

Maker information: By Awadetsati--carved wood; clay base and spinning dowe by his daughter, Chanaamani. Once a man has finished stick, he is not to handle spindle again. If he does, the owman cannot use it nor can the cotton be used.
