Description

Warp: \/ wool; red, blue.

Weft: \ wool; red: Pattern \\ linen ud.

Cloth, brocaded.

Brocaded band has red ground with narrow blue edge stripes. The pattern is a diagonal interlace of vine stems. An oval carrying a quatrefoil at the intersections. Interstitual concentric eight-point star, with quatrefoil inside. Pendant attached by stem carrying petals and X's.
