Description

Warp: \ wool; mixed-brown.

Weft: \/ linen; ud: \ wool; mixed-brown, red purple.

Technique: Tapestry over one warp. Emb. with \/ linen.

Large ovals connected by a straight stem enclosing four small oval rings. Two small oval rings each side of the connecting stems. This pattern embroidered on the narrwo red-purple guard band of the clavus.
