Description | Pointed; small; cane; twilled plaiting mostly in under 3 over 4. RIm loosely bound with strips intertwined. Handle of cane loops, wrapped with a strip, attached under rim. Decoration: some horizontal strips dyed red, some are coarse side of cane; most vertical strips are shiny side of cane but some are reversed. Pattern not very clear. Dye may be native. |
