| Description | Semilunar or full crescent in shape with slight continuation of curve at the ends beyond the stright top. An oval hole, parallel to the straight edge, would contain two or three fingers. Unlike the groove of the "mat needle smoother" this polishing groove extends the full length of the curve. |
