Description | Made from tirite (sehoro) reed, strap from moriche leaf fiber. Used by men to carry chunks of moriche palm from the fields to the village where women process them for food. Also used as all purpose carrying basket by men and women. Uhu Waramana. Made by Julio Perez, June 1987 |
