Description | White cotton "weft-warp open weave" gauze. Made of four pieces with two side seams, center front seam and center back seam. Neck is formed by single opening at top of front and back seams. Yoke is faced with shite cotton of plain weave. Patterns are predominantly geometric, with some figures of birds and humans. Bottom of huipil is mostly done in plain weave. |
