Description | Ring foot, profile sloping diagonally outward. Deep body with steeply rounded profile. Sharp articulation at join of body and shoulder. Lip concave in profile. Loop handles attached to shoulder, rising nearly vertically to a little above top of lip. Body ribbed continuously all the way around. Very indistinct traces of applied decoration in white on shoulder and on side of rim. Oyster-white clay. Dark gray glaze except on underside of foot and in a band just above join of foot and wall. Intact. |
