Description | CBS Register: terracotta figurine, gracefully draped woman on a low pedestal PBS XVI: Babylonian lady draped as before. She steps forward, gathering in the left hand the folds of her shawl. Her right hand is gracefully raised holding the veil. The poise of the body subtly enveloped and visible through the folds of the light material, is purely Greek. There is a small base below her feet, molded. |
